Why Joali Being
Joali Being is the wellness-focused sister to Joali Maldives, and one of the few resorts in the country where 'wellness' isn't a marketing label slapped on a spa menu. It's a fully programmed property — every guest gets a pre-arrival assessment, a personalised wellness plan, and access to a residential medical team that includes a Western GP and a TCM practitioner. The 68 villas surround the largest dedicated wellness facility in the Indian Ocean: hydrotherapy pools, sound healing, aerial yoga, naturopathy. The food is plant-forward but not preachy. No children, no alcohol in most rates, no kids' club. Best for couples doing a 7–10 day reset, recovering athletes, anyone post-burnout. Skip it if you want a holiday that includes a sundowner martini.
