Why Fihalhohi Island Resort
Fihalhohi is a long, narrow South Malé island with one of the longer house reefs in the atoll — you can drift-snorkel its length on a single tank. 156 villas, mostly beach types, half-board pricing that's reliably mid-tier. The diving is straightforward and the food is unfussy. Best for couples and families on a 5–7 night trip wanting a quiet, non-overwater base close to MLE. Skip it if overwater villas or design polish matter to you.
