Why go

Why go to Hangnaameedhoo

Hangnaameedhoo is Dhigurah's quieter neighbour: the same South Ari MPA, the same year-round whale-shark channel a short boat ride away, fewer dive lodges and almost no other guests. The village is tiny — roughly 600 people — but a 4-room dive boutique and a couple of family-run guesthouses keep things very low-key. Use it as a base if Dhigurah is full, or pair it with two nights on Dhigurah for a contrast: the diving menu is identical, the evenings are quieter, and the guesthouse owners tend to remember your name by day two.
